Basement Finishing & Remodeling

So many contracting companies improperly finish basements because they use organic materials like wood and drywall. Basements are different than other areas of your home as it is the most likely area for water damage. These organic materials mold and rot quickly.

Our company is different because we only use our patented products which are completely inorganic & waterproof. If a pipe bursts, or a flood happens, or the basement leaks after rain your Veazie basement will not ever be damaged.

Our Finishing Products:

  • Waterproof, Washable, Insulated Walls
  • Mold-Resistant, No-Sag suspended Ceilings
  • Basement Dehumidifiers
  • Variable, Energy-efficient Basement Lighting
  • French, Bifold & six-paneled steel Doors
  • Basement Staircases
  • Energy-efficient, Double-paned Windows
  • Carpet, Tile & Faux Wood Flooring

Professional Mold Removal & Remediation

Our certified professionals will come to your Veazie home and identify the areas of your home with mold and the type of mold. We then completely remove the mold as well as damaged materials from your home.

Our Mold Services:

  • Energy-Efficient Dehumidification
  • Damaged Material Removal

Once the mold and damaged materials is completely removed, we rebuild the removed pieces of your home using mold-resistant materials. If needed we also install an energy-efficient dehumidifier to control the relative humidity to prevent future mold growth.

I have a dry basement that has my washer and dryer. I'd like a more pleasant and clean feeling space to do laundry and have shelving and some storage/cabinet space. My furnace is downstairs in the center of the basement. I'd like a partition if possible that separates the laundry space from the rest of the basement, having one separate space for laundry would be great so you don't see the electrical box/furnace etc.
Project Location: Glenburn, ME
I live in a single-wide trailer built in the 80's, and there are bathroom mushrooms growing in my master bed near the wall that's shared with the shower on the other side in the attached bathroom. A little musty, worried about mold inevitably growing in addition to the mushrooms growing from the carpet.

I have an old house (built in the 1960s) and we have a lot of mice. I think they're getting in through the basement or around the foundation in that area. I want to look at options for insulating/closing gaps between the rocks to hopefully help with this rodent issue.

I'm selling my home and the biggest issue people have is that my basement is unfinished. It is a raised ranch and the space is already insulated. I built a small room in the space but would like to take down 1 or 2 of the walls and create a large open space that could serve as a family room.
