This once beautiful home was severely damaged but mold due to a plumbing failure detected by the local water company while the homeowners were away. The water company informed the homeowners there was a problem suspected due to the high concentration of water being utilized by their property. The homeowners sent their neighbor to take a look at their property and came upon this huge, moldy mess. It is approximated that the home was having this issue at least a month before it was detected!
Keith Trembley Builder was called in to gut and
remodel the entire home. Demolition was the first line of defense. Then it was followed by drying any of the existing framing materials possible. Before restoring the kitchen and home to a pristine state.

A 1960's ranch home in Bangor Maine, The kitchen was very small and not user friendly. Unfortunately we could not move any walls to make it larger because of the existing floor plan.
We were able however to relocate the refrigerator and stove, and install a wall oven to greatly improve the function ability of the kitchen. The triangle of the stove, sink, refrigerator were greatly improved. We removed the existing built in cabinets. We Installed Bertch Cabinets with edge and crown moldings,lazy susan,silverware trays, sliding pull out draws, baking sheet racks. A new laminate countertop. A new sink and
faucet. New hanging lights. New Mannington floor. New paint on the walls and ceiling. The home owners are thrilled with the results going so far as to write us a thank you letter. The room is much brighter and more user friendly. And she likes to cook!
This project cost approximately $12000.00!

This was a typical 1960 ranch home that had built in birch plywood cabinets, and that had yellowed over the years. We upgraded the old cabinets to Merrillatt Cherry cabinets, with solid plywood end panels. We were also able to incorporate a Lazy susan and other useful kitchen storage. The refrigerator was hidden behind a beautiful refrigerator panel and we installed a new laminate countertop. Once the job was completed, we reinstalled the dishwasher and sink.
The project finished with a new coat of paint on the walls and ceilings.
