This basement in Brewer was just an empty space before the crews from Keith Trembley Builder / Total Basement Finishing responded to the homeowners call. The young couple has three small children and desperately needed a place for them to play away from the main kitchen and dining area. The new basement space started out being designed for just that reason, as a play area. It then morphed into a small kitchen, bathroom, and even a home theater area.
The homeowner's mother often comes to visit for extended stays, so the kitchen area was added for her. She is a gourmet cook and liked the idea of a quiet place to prepare the meals.
